I have so much Makita kit it silly, but its so handy as i have about 10 batteries, so always have a few full charged available at any time,
This is quite heavy for its size but looks very well made, the reviews say it will only realistically cut up to about 6" but that's plenty for most Pollarding & limbing will be doing round the garden & up the woods.

I have quite a few batteries, the dual charger is useful too

I'm looking at a few tree trimming implements, the recip saw with a demolition blade is not the safest

I have 2 chargers.
One was dirt cheap as sold for spares but works well it doesn't sing when you put the battery in or when it's fully charged that's the fault.
3 fake batteries cause I got scammed on them and a quite bit of clone units that are good enough for my needs

You can turn the beeps/noise off by inserting and removing the batteries quickly, first thing I do with a new charger

Do they weld easy in situ? Or do I have to remove the ring to tack with the tig?

I always pries the ring off and mig, Expect you could mig it with it on but I am a cup half full type.
I would not tig due to ring being spring steel I think

Didn't know that.
I actually need this feature cause I can stay constantly there checking or just because I might forget to have them charging

It will cycle through and play different tunes, so you can set different chargers up with different tunes so you know which one finished.
