Today I acquired...........

Got this yesterday, from a local charity shop.


Inspection showed that some one had spent a bit of money on it.

New wicks.
New glass

But what killed it?

They used the wrong fuel. so the wicks had gone hard, the wick gears were seized.

Cutting most of the old wicks off, soaking in meths had the gears free.

Fresh fuel.

Found on E bay, buy it now function.

All for daft prices, due to miss spelling.

On the way back from Wales, yesterday. Greenbacks Temu Sat Nav was taking us on a random rout out of Cardiff. Through residential areas, trading estates and the like.


It waas on one of these trading estates we found a second hand store and it was having a Tool sale.
Plus it had two burger vans.

So we went in.

Couldn't resist this little blow torch. Complete with it's 1981 gas hose
I shall be changing the old hose but my only question is. It states it's a butane blowtorch but would there be any problem running it on propane as I've got several bottles and regulator for propane.
