In a few weeks I'm off to the Balkans on work, my host (mate) has setup some "range" play time with various hardware, looking at the forecast that will be hot also.40°C over here today.
Planning on finishing my setup during the summer and restart maybe in late September or early October.
Fortunately I'll be playing with other guys during the night.
Wich would be a lot of fun, having NVG and IR illumination and pointer on my gun.
Seriously I can't even imagine how soldier do in middle east or in the jungle.Could be worse, you're not having to do it for real

I'm now afraid to have written something that sounds a little strange (can't say the right word cause it wouldn't be politically correct)
You know I'm only pulling your leg, but I couldn't resist. You're braver than me to come on here and use, as eloquently as you do, a second language.I'm now afraid to have written something that sounds a little strange (can't say the right word cause it wouldn't be politically correct)

Now my camo was issued to the Italian army in Iraq and Afghanistan so the real deal.
Maybe hotter temperatures but not as much humidity we have in Sardinia.
But that's really not as close to reality yet.
Replicas weight the exact same (3.5kg for the AR and 1.1kg for the Beretta) but the carrier is just fabric no plates in it, the helmet just plastic, the magazines even fully loaded don't even reach half of the weight of the real steel, maybe the pistol ones do.
Plus all the other gear like frags, knife, communication devices, and a bunch of things we don't really need to carry for airsoft like ir markers etc.
I've calculated a weight limit of 15kg in total for my setup.
That's according to what said by an ex Delta Force officer on a podcast, he set the limit up to 30% of the bodyweight just for the plate carrier for the operators he was leading in combat.
I'll not reach the 30% for everything including replicas but it's insane how soldiers actually carry over 50% of their weight in equipment no matter what weather conditions
Not my language still, someone said that if you are enough confident about what you're saying who's listening will believe you are very competent even if you are actually not.You know I'm only pulling your leg, but I couldn't resist. It caused considerable laughter as 3 of them are language/translators and are fluent in numerous languages.
Tota is probably Latin
Not sure why my phone sometimes does the completely wrong words, hell even voice typing gives me sentences that even a bottle of whisky couldn't produce!
2 more anti defibulators
"Ivan, who is the bloke in desert camo, out here?"Could be worse, you're not having to do it for real

That is the summer tinted safety glasses sorted then. 35 pairs.
30 pairs of the left type and 5 of the right, which also come with a pouch and cloth.
As safeties, the right type, have a better fit and wrap around, but both are good.
It's waiting patiently for the right moment and then it will pounce. Just before you go that big party is when it will launch it's attack so you can spend all night tell everyone who asks that you can't open your red swollen eye because the strimmer launched something at you with near light speed that managed to penetrate your outer defences of mask and glasses. So far, nope! I've been doing quite a bit just with the left style and they give good protection.
Thats with the Makita XGT strimmer which seems to maintain a higher speed than petrol and launches anything a lot further!
Girlfriend needs something sparkly
They are not so effective however, when also wearing a chainsaw mesh visor and cutting connifer. Connifer burns! I'm yet to find any combination that will prevent saw dust in the eyes, it seems to float around until it gets you. It's waiting patiently for the right moment and then it will pounce. The tools are useless without a project though.A sensible bloke would've just sprinkled some glitter on something & then spent all the money on tools.
