And then there's these, four port valve actuators. I have LOTS and potentially have a steady supply for a good while.

A 24VAC motor / gearbox that drives the valve. The thread through the final drive, black bit is M8.

I'm going to try and incorporate one into my auto loading, magazine fed, bog roll dispenser.

Not sure on the final drive speed or available torque. I'll have a play. I'll likely be able to supply these for the cost of posting.

(I also have the brass four ports, they'll get weighed in for beer tokens).

Stopped via a friends house on the way home today. Coffee and flap jacks was served.
As I left I was asked if I wanted a old lamp.
I said yes.



Looks like a run of the mill Tilley lamp.

But it is either a hybrid or a 1960's MOD Army Tilley lamp.
Brass tank, but alloy pump.
Board arrow and a number.
But the control valve is a latter version, but the vaporiser is a older design.
Top cap is an old design but it is black, not brown.

The pictures shows me doing attest light to see what needs doing o fix it.

Goes well with my practically "New old stock " Moore and Wright Sheffield mic I got the other day

And agreed bit of a weird labeling it is 8" not 305mm

I’ve just had 9m3 of C25 on volumetric mixer and 30 m pump line and it cost £1550 inc v

Has anyone got an idea of how long a ground laid pump line for C25 concrete can be ? I will be looking to pump about 25 mtrs from the kerb edge or 20 mtrs off the 4 inch thick concreted drive way late on next year .

If it's MOD and brass tank it's not a Tilley it's a Vapalux. Better than a Tilley.

They asked me if I wanted 30m or 60m ground line pump, 30m was my furthest point of excavation from the curb.

I have no idea how or even if it works. its 113 years old though so if there is a cell in it its probably fubar.
