Not far wrong I reckon.
I bought a cheap er32 collet for the mill a while back. When I went to use it the drawbar bound up.
I took it out and screwed it directly to the drawbar and found the threads were on the squonk.
It was outside the return window so I bored the threads out, shrunk fit and welded in a blank then drilled and tapped it square.
It's not just an Amazon thing.
The ballscrew manufacturers will sell out of tolerance ballscrews to the highest bidder, who will often assemble them into useable screws/actuators, then sell them on through various channels. It's why these deals have very limited quantities.
The collet holders on the other hand, are cheap to make. If you really want to know how cheap you can buy them, ask for some quotes on Alibaba. I'm sure if I wanted to buy a few hundred, I could get them for less than a fiver each. They won't be the highest quality, and probably not the tightest of tolerances, but they'll be more than acceptable to the type of buyer who'll buy from Amazon.

Having sold my valve grinder I happened upon the opportunity to buy this one for just $60. It’s in much worse condition than my other one but still works, and has loads of spares, it’s amazing actually. Belts, duplicate castings, grinding stones, collets. I thought the price was a mistake!

Buy plenty of chainsaw oil , keep it correctly tensioned , clean & sharp ... don't run it on long incorrectly rated extensions & it's likely it'll see you outToday I acquired the experience of using a chainsaw for the first time in my 55 years of existence! Its safe use is 99% common sense, use it like its trying to kill you at all times and you will be ok

Today I received.....good news!
Following on from post #27,400 I had another call from the Consultant this morning. Reading had dropped yet again to 1.6!!
He's very pleased [and surprised] that it went down as he didn't expect the continuing reduction to be sustained. All other tests are excellent and, although I'll have to crack on with the monthly 'stabbing', he doesn't think it's necessary for him/them to do the monthly phone consultation - every two months for that now.
