I’ve never been a fan of vacuum bleeding , always found a pressure bleed used sensibly to be way more efficient. The vacuum pump is useful for testing various engine sensors, vacuum advance units etc

I just reverse fill with a syringe and bleed each device as normal. Nothing fancy needed for brakes I can refit the bike brakes early before work, the filling/bleeding takes about 3 minutes.

Raided the Middle of Lidl this morning and picked up a new Parkside auto-dimming helmet. For the price of £23 bar a few pennies, it's pretty good value.The build looks like it will stand the gaff for the kind of light usage it will be getting. The head cradle was easy to set up though I'm not a fan of the cloth sweat band but, once that's worn out I'll do the same trick as I did on the cradle of my standard helmet - wrap a load of insulating tape it its place. It hasn't been used in anger yet but I'm looking forward to the opportunity . . . perhaps I'll just wander down to my workshop and play around later today.

I bought a previous parkside welding helmet, one that looked a bit (but not entirely) like this:
It's surprisingly nice to use (although I prefer my parweld one). The main problem I've had with it is I used it while plasma cutting some dirty aluminium and it got a bit splattered. The outer visor is now covered in marks and I've completely failed to find anywhere I can get a replacement visor. In future I think I'll stick with mainstream brands or designs with flat visors rather than ones that are bent.

That design is covered in their manual. A few pages in is what looks like the individual parts and their numbers - perhaps a search of the Parkside website may reveal something?

£30 for the 4 (which seemed a reasonable price).
included in the box:
4x driver boards.
1x CNC "Shield" (arduino interface PCB)
AND...
an arduino uno
wasnt expecting all that: i fear i either read the ad wrong, or theyve sent me the wrong box.
still, saves me having to wait another 6 weeks for tbe driver boards to arrive from china.
edit: i misread the ad.
4 motors + drivers, then in description: + driver board + R3 uno.
£26.88, ordered 8th feb, arrived monday 15th. from BangGood
£30 for the 4 (which seemed a reasonable price).

Yes, I tried that. I contacted Parkside directly with the part number and also tried a company down Southampton way somewhere (Solent tools or something like that). Neither of them even bothered to reply.

Did you try phoning Lidl service dept.? There's a phone number on all their manuals and I spoke to a very nice young lady re a part for my tiddly 25ltr compressor - she sent me a replacement part FOC although the tool was out of warranty.

Acquired a couple sets of bits, a bucket and a nibbler from one of our local Lidl stores. I've noticed that in the past few weeks that no tools are being sold in Aldi stores, but there seems to be an increase in the variety of tools offered at Lidl's.
I have a Milwaukee sheer which is great for cutting flat metal, but find it awkward to cut corrugated with it. So thought I'd try this tool as I plan on installing a metal roof over the torch down felt on the garage I'm building for longevity.
EDIT: I notice this tool runs at a very high rpm, seems awfully fast ?
