Picked this van racking up today for the princely sum of........£0!

I have some racking already although may be getting a second van so this will be going in mine and what I have now going in the other as they are smaller and more suited to what I might be getting (Merc Vito)

Been waiting on a job I sent to be powder coated,so have just got around to using it it anger,setting 104 s/steel m5 rivnuts.First time I’ve used one & the customer was willing to pay! The m5 setting mandrel don’t last long,luckily I had a load of 12.9 Allen bolts I could use,must’ve got thru at least 8,as the threads would wear.
Nicely presented case.photos of finished work to follow.btw,don’t you just love that name?

That's why I dont like these wind in ones
Feel the pull type nursert guns a bit better as already fully engaged into the threads.

Were you able to crimp s/steel rivnuts with that dodge?

Haven't tried stainless, but I guess with quality bolts and nuts and strong wrists it'd work.

Got a nice set of mitutoyo coolant proof absolute in the garage.
Metric only though.

Wanted something with inch/metric and the second set can go in the van.

Couldn’t get one of those from Zoro or Cromwell for sensible money. Be a nice addition to the collection so I can use one of the chucks I got in the Kerry drill, as well as the lathes

Been tinkering with the 3D printer and the carriage plate had seen better days, look liked it had been 'tweaked' in the past by bending the corners where it had run out of adjustment so ordered a new one on Amazon last night. Had a message to say it had arrived at home so when I got back from work it was time to play hunt the Amazon parcel, eventually found it in the garden, inside the BBQ!

Picked these up just now off my local snap on dealer.

I rarely buy snap on but I have had and thrown away a few different brands of ratchet spanner’s and wanted a good pet bar for a while. The big one was £80 but came free when I bought the smaller set.

To top it off, I got this bobby hat free which is a bonus as I’m working outside today
