If you had a lathe you could make one.I've just ordered [ex Amazon] a JT6 > MT2 adapter, so I'll be able to use it in the tailstock of the ML7.

Couldn’t get one of those from Zoro or Cromwell for sensible money. Be a nice addition to the collection so I can use one of the chucks I got in the Kerry drill, as well as the lathes![]()

Boron steel? You may remember a while back I picked a fork lift tine to make the rocker arm for the elliott shaper, well a couple weeks ago I went back to where I got it from to see if there was any more and was told, none left all gone. Well today the guy was passing and he called in to see if I wanted another one they had found in the yard, same money 20 quid, I said yes please he said put the kettle on while he got it out of the pickup truck, I am now in debt to the tune of 20quid and it has cost me a cup of coffee and a couple chockie biscuits for the delivery, but I am a happy bunny as it great metal. Tonight I chopped it up to make it more manageable for me as its blooming heavy in one piece, the guy carried it in on his own. I thought Jeeeeeesusss when I saw him.

Good tools those, although if you do enough rivnutting, spring for an air operated one. Makes life a dream!View attachment 207020 View attachment 207021 Actually couple of months ago.
Been waiting on a job I sent to be powder coated,so have just got around to using it it anger, setting 104 s/steel m5 rivnuts.First time I’ve used one & the customer was willing to pay! The m5 setting mandrel don’t last long, luckily I had a load of 12.9 Allen bolts I could use, must’ve got thru at least 8,as the threads would wear.
Nicely presented case.photos of finished work to follow.btw, don’t you just love that name?
Other than that big heavy cross he carried across Jerusalem! That wasn’t Jesus he could walk on water but couldn’t carry ****e!![]()
I have an air one, don't do a lot of rivnut ting but it's so much easierGood tools those, although if you do enough rivnutting, spring for an air operated one. Makes life a dream!
Were you able to crimp s/steel rivnuts with that dodge?I've used MEMfast for Rivnuts... but never had the luxury of the setting tool! Always done it with a bolt and two or three nuts. Couple of ratchet spanners to speed things up.
I pick a mate up from his works and these were in the workshop next door waiting to go in the skip, I'm not sure what they use them for but i think they make fibreglass storage tanks.Where are these from please? Could do with some of this when I move into my worship and build my office / brew room
