Accidentally on purpose bought over the weekend a new soundsystem for the workshop and it arrived today, and I'm mighty impressed! It's a Revo Supertone, designed (if not made...) in Scotland too, 60% off was a bargain a couldn't miss.

Today, my order from Zoro arrived - keyless chuck (seems a robust bit of kit), along with a rubber hammer and carbide turning insert to make up the order to "free p & p....

A brace of aviation snips. One LH cut from CK, and a straight cut from Dargan (local tool importer from cheapaneseland, but ususally ok).

Be interesting to compare them when they have had a bit of use.
I had to buy a Stanley Fatmax set of snips to cut out some top hat on site when I could not find my Wiss snips, the Stanley ones were great when new but have quickly blunt and slack jawed.

I've just ordered [ex Amazon] a JT6 > MT2 adapter, so I'll be able to use it in the tailstock of the ML7.

Well I got my order through today, 2 screwdrivers, a sds adapter and the chuck. The chuck really is a nice heavy piece of kit, unfortunately it's not going h to fit what I bought it for!

Who would have thought that JT stands for Jacob's taper?
I wanted it to fit on my Bosch SDS drill as the old one is a bit knackered.
Oh well it's a nice chuck.....

if you have a lathe use it on that . with a jt6 - to 2mt arbour
