Not with buying anything unbranded with batteries or LEDs off eBay, the Chinese tell whoppers about the wattage and amp hr capacity. From past experience with this type of torch
Look closely at the batteries. Quite often marked at 4000mah or similar but when stuck on a digital charger they are tiny capacity. Charge quick and die in 15 minuites.
Worth buying a nitecore charger
In that condition I would sell it to a restaurant and buy the steel for a proper heavy duty welding table.Got myself a cheap little welding table today , all stainless steel with 2 drawers and on wheels ,I'm happyView attachment 202806
It's not big , Size is 1200 x 595 x 790 but it'll do for me and like I said it was cheap
Looking forward to joining the ranks of the legendary blues harmonica players.
a new headtorch.
Yesterday, this arrived from Lithuania, and very nice it is, too.
Unfortunately, if I gut the existing binnacle to fit it, I lose the fuel gauge, which is invaluable.

I use the genuine one personally but only as I got it cheap at our local suppliers. Best thing for sharpening chains in my opinionOrdered this chainsaw chain sharpener a few days ago after killing the new chain on some embedded barbed wire (GRRRR....), it arrived today and after about 5 minutes filing - 3 strokes per tooth - the chain cuts better than new!
I went for the cheap Chinese copy off eBay, £11 delivered - instead of the proper Stihl tool at £30 so I'm very happy with it.
Got to be very quick with a flat and round file by hand. Lots of practice when i was in the tradeI use the genuine one personally but only as I got it cheap at our local suppliers. Best thing for sharpening chains in my opinion
Slap a 10 mm mild steel sheet on the top & give an overhang of 60 mm to one side & the front , so you can cut a 10 mm slot for mounting a vice on a drop in " T " bracket that can be lock/bolted in place & easily / quickly removed if needed .Got myself a cheap little welding table today , all stainless steel with 2 drawers and on wheels ,I'm happyView attachment 202806

The thing with these (and I use my saw probably 3 times a week on average) is they do the flat file for you at the exact rate, also much more comfortable to hold for speedGot to be very quick with a flat and round file by hand. Lots of practice when i was in the trade
It's to do with the council being held to account for Public liability for injuries to a member of the public from using something technically owned by the local authority , not as many seem think to make a profit or to be niggardly .Yeap Horsley tip indeed. Really can't get my head round why re-use of stuff is discouraged. Surely it's better than recycling in terms of energy use etc. Whatever happened to "reduce, reuse, recycle, in that order"?
and the price ??Today's acquisitionsView attachment 202857
