An extremely poorly weigh cell, that no one is interested in replacing. I need to do a little investigation in to which tyre of cells are fitted as I suspect it could be a DIY repair, rather than waiting for Barry Nappers or Weightlifters to have a tech available..

It's starting to turn cold mice are starting to look for warm shelter &easy food , food oils & taints off your hands transferred to handles , cables & books in garages are a tempting target for hungry mice. We had one or two in the filing cabinet at work
they ate every invoice number off the right hand top of two drawers of invoices. Alan a partner was screaming mad till I pointed out that him sitting at the desk eating his sandwiches and going through eh invoices was him putting nice food scents on the righthand top corner of the invoices .


Now you have noticed the mouse' handiwork work you will have a trail of pee & droppings that attracts every other mouse within 200 .
Poison the little beggars with Neo Sorexin ,CD or Gold & set some steel platform break back traps baited with bacon rind . Making the new door might make you feel good & the property look good but it won't stop the mouse/ mice at all . Only when the pee trail becomes old and permanently unused will the mice stop finding it .

Apparently the aluminium canoe made a bid for freedom during the high winds on Thursday night, and made a hellish row on its journey around the front yard. According to a seriously terse text I got from OH, (ironically while I was sat on the M6 at Carlisle due to a wagon that had blown over...), if I don't fasten it down, she'll "... cut the ******* thing up with YOUR angle grinder, and after that I'll cut your b*****s off!!!"

Methinks a few minutes of my time drilling holes us time well spent . Think it was @spencer 427 that said "Happy wife, happy life" .

My hands suffer very badly with the cold when I'm using the hiab all day, and thicker gloves make it hard to feel the paddles on the remote control unit. At a fiver a pair from Screwfix, these thermal lined offerings should help.

Indeed, almost all individuals will have their own, personal definition of the word 'happy'. It's all down to their upbringing primarily, then later in life, rarely as adults unless they've experienced an event for the first time, which tears their life apart, mostly not their fault either. Something like the death of a close family member like a parent(s) or sibling.

Ordered a 1/4" Bahco socket set for a friend for the secret Santa this year and thought mmm I'll have one too!


Seems quite nice for £17.

I picked this lot up from Kempton today, the hacksaw is very nice and solid it's made by Leyris "MADE IN ENGLAND". Anyone heard of them????


The "pincers" are Knipex and I'm pretty sure are for crimping 'O' clamps onto pipe.

A real metal Surform to replace the one I'll obviously find again tomorrow now I've bought this!
A 12mm spanner made in USA! Didn't think they knew how to do foreign stuff!
And finally a 19mm Halfords ratchet spanner, I didn't realize it was a ratchet type for a minute as it's much thinner than my others!
I spent as much on a crappy hot dog and tea as I did on this lot!

Not a bad day out and I didn't nearly buy a Moto Morrini 3 1/2 or a Tigcraft / Yamaha Sound of Singles racer or some monster spine snapping twin shock MX bike.....
