Pressie to me, justification is that I need to get some 25mm box from the steel suppliers for the kitchen cabinet base build and will have to cut them down to get them on the trailer won't I

The third and hopefully final part of my bad luck.
1st dual mass flywheel on the car disintegrates with little warning. £1600 quid engine needs to be dropped to replace it and the clutch.
2nd Someone wipes out the front of my van because they dont know how to use a roundabout and flee's the scene.
3rd. van starts loosing power intermittently. Sometimes it starts but no throttle and stalls like its not being told to idle.
magic. Could it get any worse. bloomin hope not.

Has it got a fly-by-wire throttle 'cable'? If this starts playing up I'd imagine it could produce the resulting aggro you've been experiencing?

It has and it could but popped down the garage on the way home this morning and had the codes read. Map sensor a short somewhere and injectors. All of which if I'm lucky could be down to the map sensor.
Hopefully not the injectors as there prone to seizing in and could be costly getting them removed.
Due in Wednesday for a service and mot already. That's me near skint for the first time in a decade.
Vehicles made a major dent in November, tax man in jan and now there hitting again.

Don't think so. Performance is fine right up until revs die completely. Then starts again and runs fine.
Time will tell. Empty the van tomorrow and prepare for a 3 day week in the car.

they look like connector nuts for something like a suspension bridge?
i've seen them somewhere - canal or railway related.
