When they're flogging these off for £3 at Lidl, it's hard to resist getting one. I didn't fare well on the willpower front.

Finally got around to getting a new thicknesser. Save me a bit of sanding next week.
240 from amazon and ordered Thursday. Arrived this morning.
Annoyingly only one of the stands turned up. Ordered the second from the same seller about 2 minutes after the first.
Stands are nice and solid and will be useful for tablesaw and mitre saw too. The evolution stand isn't good with long lengths of 9x2 and these will help.
Have a slot to take a 2x4 and a locking mech for making long saw horses. May end up with a couple more and the triton jaw horse and retiring my shop dogs.

Just taken a cuppa up stairs to her indoors, in bed, and secreted one of the the 2way radios I found, under the covers. Calmly walked down stairs and then TX'd the biggest raspberry in could muster.
I gave it a sec and then shouted "I heard that down stairs"I haven't laughed so much in ages

I brought the snow blower home today and used it and I am really satisfied with how it just chews through wet snow, we have above freezing temps now and lots of snow and I have a lot of snow that has just piled up in places we didn't used to clear when we only used manual labour. And with the thaw a lot has fallen off the roof. The only problem I have is when the traction is not sufficient, that's been the only thing stopping me from chewing through everything. Gonna have to break up those banks, they are getting too tall there, but once I do that I can plow through that too.
