Last Saturday I visited a House clearance shop, the owner told me he may have some more bits and bobs left of what was part of a recent clearance.

I managed to get back there yesterday, sadly what was left was not worth me collecting. But there was a few gems left.

I took what I was interested in, the rest I left.

My Bits.



4 chuck keys. I hope one will fit the B&D multi kit. I have not tried them yet.
2x King Dick 17mm 3/8 sockets. They will replace one lost from a socket set I have. They have a "Broad Arrow" stamp.
Oh yes a hose to tap connection. well why not.



Selection of gouges, chisels and carving tools. @slim_boy_fat you are right. Lots of work.



A Eclipse Piercing saw, 3 blades. Identical to one my Dad had. Happey memories.

Until Yesterday I did not have one anymore, my old one grew legs a few years ago.

So, more work to do.

Today I acquired, amongst other stuff such as milling cutters, two of these, a left and a right hand.
Quality seems better than the usual cheap ones from APT or wherever and they feel much better in the hand than them as well. Time will tell if they are good but at £23 plus VAT each I decided to get a couple.

Dropping on a complete set of changewheels with any Drummond lathe is a rarity, as is dropping on those tumbler units with one, or as a separate item.

Currently, 2 Pre-B's, 2 Roundbeds, 3 M-types & 3 5" dual beds. I had to trim the collection a tad. Saying that, I'm likely going to sell the three 5" machines too. Restoration projects that large likely aren't in my future, and they're a lot of metal to have to move in the inevitable move.

The tumble reverse and change gears I need a 20t for my reverse if you have a spare as where I'm buying my other gears only have them with a 12mm bore and I'd rather not have to bore it out
