Do you have a court order allowing you to do that? I don't think it's unreasonable but you could find yourself on very dodgy ground, legally speaking, no matter how understanding the wife is...

Took legal advice on the matter. We have advice him he needs to pay up ASAP, as the time elapsed between his original agreement to repay had long past. Plus he has bounced a check.
He have the Belle back when we have received the funds. If no funds appear I will dispose of the mixer as Mrs TYA sees fit.

Works diversion to the Hayling weekly beach sale got me a couple of rusty cantilever tool boxes, my ' bingo' was two M&W protractors.

Will clean up with some auotosol but they are more readable than the pics suggest.

I have a similar model to the flaring tool.
Great when working under a car.
I brought one, as I had to borrow one to fix a Mk2 Astra, rear brake pipe sheared when changing a cylinder.

Used it for a few times, now it gathers dust. But good to know I have one.

I "acquired" a similar Draper Tap and Die set when I left an employer.
Good for re-cutting threads and cleaning up.

I did find the knurling on the tap wrench was rough on the hands, I covered it in heat shrink.

The die holder was recycled.

My ' new' ones look like they have had very little use TYA ; I wonder if they would be handy for a little steam engine project.

Got it all tidied away - loadd of old allen keys and drill bits too- just before the rain has started..

The Draper kit was a nice find for me , its added to my meagre metric collection.

It is a good kit, a starter kit if you like.

As I said the tools just needed some better finishing.

Unfortunately not... would of been nice. The machine was sold a long while ago. But he kept the books..and handed them to me.

Nor do you have a clue of what has transpired before today.
Nor the letters and correspondence what has gone before.

If you are as wise as you think, you would of read the wording of the post and understood the context of it.
