It's an Amolco bench-top machine - designed to be fitted to a Myford lathe in place of the tailstock. I wouldn't fancy lifting it into place, it weighs a fair bit  ].  Mine has the rare base and I bought it 'down sarf' and with the help of Members here [great place this

 must be the only one like that. Doesn’t affect it’s use and happy with it for the price.

		 Application of a BFH seems effective in many situations, but I suspect this isn't one of them.
