Could be the worst £25 I've spent

Plugged it in an there was a buzz but nothing else. Did a strip down and it seems like it had been drained of oil and then sat for an age....cleaned out the gum and it now runs!

I'll need to order correct oil etc but so far it's not a total disaster (like the last 2nd hand pump I bought).

I have to say this one is beautifully engineered....real work of precision.

I must have a couple of dozen assorted crimp tools but nothing to crimp uninsulated bullets so had to bite the bullet and buy one.

Didn't take any pics...I was too busy putting it back together before I forgot where things went .

I'll take pics of I end up needing to renew all the seals...I'm hoping I can just fill it with oil tmrw and it'll all just work...would be a superb result.

Got the toolbox delivered today

Opened up and got a pleasant surprise

Everything brand new but the little label catch my attention as it says
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
I really didn't understand what I was buying.

I've seen the grease gun but I thought it was smaller.
But here we have the bigger spanners 30-32 and 36-41.
Said so those are not standard car sizes
But more like for tractors or excavators hydraulics.
And the grease gun makes sense now

Almost useless on a car if not a 1990's Peugeot...
Anyways there are also sockets, a slide bar, an extension and an universal joint included

Again weird sizes 17-20-24-27-30-32-36mm
The last mentioned has a 3/4" square while everything else is 1/2"
There's a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter too.
All those sockets seem legit and you can feel that they are pretty well built.
All of them are 12 point sockets (everything I've had before is 6 points) and everything says FLAG JAPAN

There are other more common spanner sizes and two double bladed screwdrivers.
All those are branded Mito.
A pair of pliers too but those have no names on it.

I almost forgot about this feeler gauge .

Now I've theorically said that I was buying this set for my car, to have tools in the trunk without borrowing them from other toolboxes but I feel like I either need to get an excavator or a tractor now

Only a couple of years' light use, apparently something broke in the hydraulics and manglement decided it wasn't worth fixing.

Plan is to pair them with an inverter-charger for use during power cuts, we get a lot of them round here.

Get them tested, as they may have dropped their AH level.

We did a side line in testing them for certin companies.

First item, 10 rolls of free, good quality turf, although a couple days old.

Second being a DHL from Amazon Japan. Ordered Sunday. Originally when ordering said delivery today then changed to monday, so was a bit suprised when the DHL van pulled up outside.

Cable belt climb adaptor for the XGT battery system. Should make my long reach hedge cutter, much lighter to use.

Today I've got my first work away from the shop.
We ground and assembled a big IVECO excavator engine.
Well happened that it leaks so tomorrow morning at 5AM I have to go to the machine shop take the van and go in site to take off the cylinder head and check what's wrong with it

A shiny stainless steel reel and a 6' delayed surface marker bouy to keep me safe when diving:


In normal use the bouy, which is fully sealed apart from the inflation point at the bottom, is clipped onto and rolled up and bungee'd to the reel and is inflated by the co2 bulb at the end of a dive, which sends it to the surface, whereupon it sticks out of the water like a scene from a Linda Lovelace film , allowing the dive boat skipper to keep an eye on your whereabouts in the ocean.

I was in the market for another one as my primary marker, inflated by a 232 bar 0.3 litre cylinder, is showing its age, so I went for this from Kent Tooling who are somewhere in Canterbury. It's top notch gear, the reel is almost entirely stainless steel construction, it holds 65 metres of line, which is plenty deep enough for me, and is made in the UK by very nice folk, so why not:

I'm wearing an ex-company tee shirt at the moment they come in handy for home diy, work trousers and sweat shirts also get put to use at home or the stables

Have you opened the parcel?
If not you could of refused it from the postie, or you can put a line through your address, write refused on it, circle the return address and post in a parcel box. If it's been opened then you would have to pay postage costs or wait for them to ask for it's return and ask them to supply a return postage label.
