Its handy - I got it on ebay someone 3d prints them. Good to keep the batteries organised. I also use the batteries in a clockwise fashion from the caddy that way they all get discharged and recharged to keep them healthy.
Where do you buy your bearings? Most of the suppliers charge high carriage for NI.
I was using simply bearings but they now have a minimum order price to get cheap carriage.
I have all my Makita batteries numbered. I use them in order - 1,2,3,etc. When I get to no 6 I go back to no 1 again. Keeps all the batteries cycled evenly.
You need to join the red army
I've had problems with fake bearings on ebay and tend to avoid it if I can.
I'm invested in the Blue stuff as is our Men's Shed which comes in handy when borrowing tools..
I go to my local autoparts store to get them.I've had problems with fake bearings on ebay and tend to avoid it if I can.
Yes kinda other brands are good enough, I do prefer Makita over Milwaukee and I've got clones till now but Makita are the cheapest to keep them running.Milwaukee is the way to go. One day you will see the light.
What problem did you have - specifically?
Fake bearings are a huge issue - last I heard they are getting into genuine supply chains too.
Really difficult to know what you are buying now.
Bearings that claimed to be skf but upon receiving them it was obvious they were fake. A lot of slop in them and very little grease.
I was refunded straight away by the seller no arguments. Would a trader selling genuine stuff do that?
Another bearing trader selling a 'quality budget' bearing that were appallingly bad quality. Got a refund on those too, seller claimed they had sold hundreds of them with no issues. There must be hundreds of mugs out there using these bearings!
Depending where in NI you are, I would have thought that there would be a local bearings supplier who would be worth using...Where do you buy your bearings? Most of the suppliers charge high carriage for NI.

I use Bearing King and Steel City Bearings, both of whom will ship to NI without a minimum charge, but use UPS, so it's £15 cacarriage.
Bearing Fraud is a huge issue.Didn't @doubleboost mention issues with bearings on one of his videos a couple of year or so ago? Seem to recall it being in relation to a lathe tool he'd made.
