It's in a glass bottle. HDPE degrades over time, I believe, that's why it was decanted.DMC wont touch HDPE, the bottle it comes in, is likely made of it, tho quite likely the rubber seals would last only seconds.
Seems a bit extreme for perspex? Acetone or MEK would not be more suitable?

My nephew managed to get two sets to get going in his favourite hobby ......... electronic circuits .
He went on to build gas spectrum analyzers till Walkbury found he was colour blind , three years after starting work with them.
You just gonna have to wait, aintcha !
