I already have a few m16 taps, but also got a M20 spiral point HSSE tap for a tenner, tho it was the last one.

DMC wont touch HDPE, the bottle it comes in, is likely made of it, tho quite likely the rubber seals would last only seconds.

Seems a bit extreme for perspex? Acetone or MEK would not be more suitable?

It's in a glass bottle. HDPE degrades over time, I believe, that's why it was decanted.
I'll test beforehand, but dcm is the recommended solvent, or so I believe.

Stopped by my local Hardware shop today, after a LED Bulb for a torch.
They did not have one.
But they had customers returns, damaged ,but good items and lost HSE labels.
So I brought a lot off stuff.

Near me is a Antique centre, there was a nice stall full of vintage toys. Owned by a nice lady, aka The Toy collector.
She is Ginger, cute, drinks salted black coffee as well..

I have left her messages to see if she can find me stuff.
We met up today, few coffees and a few beers I got this lot. Before beer and coffee.

Mostly, some D.7 Bantam crankcases, a cylinder barrel, and various other bits and bobs thereof.
Also, a 125 Aprilia motocross Gilardoni cylinder barrel for study .
Plus a chat with Dr K , aka Brendan Kavanagh , the most excellent boogie -woogie piano player who was getting ready to give the St Pancras public piano a fairly serious workout.....

Me and my daughter used the electronic lab project kit from Tandy IIRC to learn about electronic circuits using TTL chips. Did you get the project tutoring book with it ?

My nephew managed to get two sets to get going in his favourite hobby ......... electronic circuits .
He went on to build gas spectrum analyzers till Walkbury found he was colour blind , three years after starting work with them.
