Treasure, today (well very late last night to be honest) I acquired new Treasure:
All sorts of stuff, tool height setter, a cylindrical square, a tube wall thickness micrometer, loads of parallels and angle bars, very useful to me are the (metric) pin guages and who doesn't like a level, accurate to some silly degree. Angle plates in useful degree increments and a ground master angle, parallel on all sides and square to every edge and face, terrific.
An old school toolmaker (younger than I am) and retiring so it made sense, to me, to buy some of his stuff.

That's a 10 seconds level. Each division is 10 arc-seconds or 1/360th of a degree. Put it on the floor and stand one end then move to stand the other end. You should see it move even on concrete.

A kilo of brazing rod, a kilo of welding rod, a new rivet-cutting tip and all the sizes of Type 2 (Afrox) welding nozzles I'm missing.
I do like these from Nozalls, they're a substantial upgrade on the standard one, with additional preheating ports.
The type 2 tips are fairly similar to the type 5 ones, but heavier built, seems silly but it does make a big difference to the balance of the shank in your hand when welding, especially with the sheet metal tips №'s 1, 2, & 3.

Well today is a milestone aquisition, something I have wanted for a long long time and today things finally fell into place.

The cheapest resistance tweezers that CPC Farnell sell, plus some soldering gubbins, for making up new DRO cables.
Ultimately all this stuff cost less than getting a spare 12-Pin M23 instrument connector, as well as making soldering 48 cup pins a lot less painful a job.
Also a 24" combination square set from Katsu tools, for the princely sum of a tenner.
It is square, but the quality is terrible compared to my Bahco ones.
However my only other option for 24" was to splash the cash for a Kennedy, Starret or M&W at ×18 to ×35 the price...
Honestly the quality is low enough that if I was using it every day, I would spend £180 on a Kennedy without thinking about it, but for an occasional use tool, it's adequate.
Alas, the fetching teal buffalo is not new, or mine (I converted my partner to to team Pile-Pertex via smugly being warm and comfortable at her during the winter, and now she's working on her colleagues by smugly being warm at them whilst doing field surveys of cereals).

The box had contents, some of which I will end up eating.
Still has the original valve adapter.
Another old camera, but this one will need a lot of work.
It is seized, the shutter is stuck open and the lens is fogged up.
A old Movie camera.
A lot will know this is a Box Brownie soft case.
But not a traditional Black one, but a early blue one.
I wonder who they were.
