Get it right, you can boil wood worm with a Meggar.

A good day was had by me.
Met @arther dailey and showed him two of my places I get stuff from. Alas the manager was not around in the first shop, no discount was asked for or given.

This has a WD stamp as well.
A quick Google shows it was a designed used to list art works etc. being stored in underground bunkers before WW2.

I am betting that this was not used for that. But the S/N are in the range.

New big angry grinder. I didn't want to buy new but after visiting so many used ones that were knackered, despite the sellers claims, I gave up and bought new. After starting the search sensibly, I needed a 9 inch grinder, I then started adding extras to the tick list of requirements including rotating rear handle and anti vibes and ended up with this.

I do have the WEA 24-230 MVT similar to yours but with more power 2400W, constant speed , kickback stop, autobalancer .
Then I have a WE19-180RT Quick which is the one mentioned by @dan.taylor.1 ,1900W 180mm , safety clutch ,constant speed ,anti vibe ,in a small package which weight only 2.7kg ,I love It...
The first I've bought ,W12-125Quick 1200W which it has just soft start and safety clutch ,antivibe as well.
The little beasts WEAPB17-125 DS Quick, 1700W 125mm , constant speed, autobalancer, dead man paddle switch,fast brake, falling protection (just a hook for a carabineer ) , safety clutch.
A WE11-125Quick remarked Würth ,1100W 125mm , constant speed, safety clutch.
All them completely toolless ,4 meters power cord .
But it doesn't end here....
I have also an UHE2660-2Quick SDS drill ,800W, 26mm on concrete ,60mm using coring bits, 2 mechanical speeds with no hammer function, rotary hammer function, hammer function , quick change chucks , obviously safety clutch.
Another SDS drill I don't know the features if not that it has 600W and 22mm drilling capacity, safety clutch
An impact drill 600W ,2 mechanical speeds, safety clutch, futuro top Chuck .
Another ancient drill maybe from the 70's somewhere .
For the moment those are all my metabos ,for the moment

Well Milwaukee challenged Fap Off on their impacts and won. (Fan Bois will argue but they know it too)

So looks like they are taking on their ball pein dead blow hammers now too. Feels great in hand anyway and should deliver a good blow.

Some micrometers arrived today. The interesting ones:

Mitutoyo changeable anvil 0-25mm



Moore & Wright 50-200mm (i think) bore micrometer. Appears unused. Was an absolute bargain at £35.



(Removed from case as the foam lining has fallen apart and is awaiting fixing.)
