I bought the Lidl tracksaw that was on sale recently. It comes with two 700mm rails but no option to buy more separately.
Turns out that Red Excel Tracksaw rails are identical. They were on sale on Ebay for 39 quid but with 20% off taking them down to £31.20. I'm not sure what the usual price was. I find that online sale prices are often inflated so that people think they are getting a bargain when the discount gets applied. Still, I'm rather happy. Tracksaw and 2.8meters of rail for £111.20 in total.
Below shows one of the rails from Parkside against an Excel rail. Don't ask me which is which.
I've replaced the stock 24 tooth blade with a finer cutting one since. Just need to make a workbench now so I can finally use it.

A very expensive squander. I'd been watching a few different sellers for a while in the hope that it would drop below £200 and it finally did (albeit not by much 
). Anyway, I finally bit the bullet and I can now sharpen four facet drill bits relatively easily:
It was a bit of a toss-up between something like this or a drill-doctor, but the drill doctor doesn't seem to do 90° point angles, which was a bit fundamental for me (I have a lot of spot drills that are very blunt!)
Anyway, I've had a quick play and have sharpened these so far:
19 mm Morse Taper bit (the largest the jig will do is 22 mm)
10 mm normal bit
5 mm spotting bit (with a 90° tip)
I've tested the two smaller ones and they seemed to work really well (I probably should have done a before and after test with that spotting drill: it was in an awful state before
)
It seemed to go pretty well for a first attempt: the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I think it'll be something I do in batches rather than very regularly and I might just do the bigger drills by hand (precision seems less critical on a big drill bit and the Tormek ain't the fastest thing in the world at hogging away metal). Nevertheless, I'll be very, very pleased when my spot drills are all sharp again.

Not today, I acquired a tilt bed trailer. A couple of feet longer than my other one, a mate had this festering in his field and decided I would have more use for it. Needs the brakes and wiring sorted out, havent checked the hydraulics on the tilt yet.

States 75mm x 457mm on the box (3" x 10"). I've got a few of that size a neighbour gave me awhile ago.

If it's the 75 x 457 it's the same size as the small makita belt sanders , but they also did one that looks identical but takes a longer belt .
I've the makita and a lidl one it's not a bad machine for money I like the flip up cover on the front roller and the brackets for mounting it upside down . I generally grab any cheap belts I see in 75 x 457.
I'd be interested in a few if want shot of some ....Think i have about 6 boxes of them (a lot of belts) surplus here
