Likewise, I have press ganged the children into getting it into my office, where it is now right in the way! Tomorrow I am on a mission to find a bit of block countertop and I am going to put it where the Box/Pan folder is and put the folder on top of it, I hope, that's the plan anyway.
Have already ordered a couple of rolls of closed cell foam for the drawers and then the fun will begin. I won't be able to find stuff for weeks!

Did the same when I needed to bring my Fobco 7/Eight out of storage.
On rebuilding it, I fitted the base plate, hoisted the drill vertical and fitted the table courtesy of an engine crane.
The next time it moves, I'll have joined the wife in the next life. This move almost put me there.

Today I aquired (or at least it arrived). a new, true colour large screen welding helmet, with a head torch. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004569481103.html. Can
t go wrong for the equivalent of 15 quid.
Thus far, really impressed with it, with a really easy see through "off" level. The head torch came with it as well and is pretty bright. I glued it to the helmet, but velcro probably would be better. Hopefully it will help me see what i am doing.

Trim the neck, making a vase or glass. Diggers of old bottles from the sea and Victorian landfills do just that.

Having struggled to get holes evenly distributed on a circle for hours, I finally relented and bought a cheap rotary table. It turns out there's an importer (From India) about 3 miles away from me, so ordered it online yesterday afternoon, and collected at 6pm last night.
Now it isn't the highest quality, but it seems to move freely (But not TOO freely) and is great value for how much I'll use it.
