Ive been involved in far worse , if my mate gets his **** in gear and fits a Hiab on his trailer it would be half the battle. Ive got a Hiab to go on my pickup but thats in bits too just bad timing. There must be loads of lathes in sheds that people find just to big for most folk to move

M12 Grease Gun. Makes my life a lot easier....

The only issue is location in a shed with a 2ft wide door at the bottom of a steep garden with a winding crazy paving path then the drive is ridiculously steep and on a bend with no easy parking outside . im an optimist but it going to be a pain to get it out

If it got in there it will come out again.

I was on the fence for ages. Thought it was a bit of a gimmick. Borrowed my mates and I was nearly there. Watched him push out the tracks on a D9 and I was sold!

offered a vice yesterday thought i did ok for £20 Ive always wanted one of these needs a bit of work but lots on the web about restoring them

Great deal on the vice! Was the square-tube mount intended to slide into a trailer hitch receiver? There have been some times when working in the field that I could have used a "trailer hitch vice."

More galvanising collected ,waited 2 weeks for this,manager said he’d been there 32 years,this is the busiest he’s experienced,anyway there’s 3 different jobs here,the last of the local restaurant framework,a balcony and bridge,and a few steel sockets for a softwood timber frame.
BUT,I’ve never experienced distortion like this balustrade!its gonna take some pushing,squeezing hitting,steel is 50/50/4 box,30/8 flat and 6mm feet.
The balcony and bridge have to be acid etched ,then painted anthracite.

I flipped my temporary garage fencing upside down to keep the local cats from entering and pizzing & carping everywhere.

To further the grease gun envy I have just used it to push a stuck piston from a calliper I probably could have used a manual one, but this took 1 finger

I'd always tack a bit of spare box/decent flat on edge under the baseplates on a flimsy one like that.

Yes there were various places all round the place it could slide into also had some winches mounted like that too
