sad day, my dad handed in a pile of whitworth spanners as he can no longer use tools (arthritis and claw hands), much of the stuff he has had 65 years when he was an apprentice including the Britool socket set he paid up as an apprentice 66 years ago:

Somewhere in the depths of storage I had a huge trs loom/snake, patch panel and some other bits, planned to offer them to you.
Went to the storage today and the loom has been eaten by something at one end and the patch panel is nowhere to be seen.
At least its pushed me to sort my storage situation out

Appreciate the thought. Lost a bit to rodents in the past myself. Thankfully nothing critical.

Have this on route. Will take care of my standalone needs il have to look at a new audio interface if I want to get each signal into the computer on its own channel though.

Today i acquired a pack of fake bacon,, to look at cooked it has a odd look but on a sarnie with sauce you would never know it was not bacon, I have not eaten bacon for about 15 years so this is a nice treat.

Yea....but maybe I could tempt you with a range of turnips made out of meat....they taste just like turnips but no veg in them at all

I used to eat meat and would never discourage anyone from eating it, I still buy meat and cook it for other people and i know it all tastes good but i just want to be proof you can be veggie and still be over weight and out of shape

Look at the size of horses cows and elephants. They only eat veg and look at the size of them.

a record No 6 in quite poor condition hopefully serviceable enough for my needs
I'll be asking vice questions shortly

and a rather nice parkinson perfect 16 joiners bench vice in original paint and fully working needs a little TLC.
the bench grinder skip material ,a cobblers last and a unusual hammer head all for the princely sum of £30.
add on market place said " large heavy bench with 2 x vices and sander £40 ono." didn't want the bench just the engineers vice but think the parkinson was the real score though I'll probably pass it on.

Delivery from ArcTradeRoute. An easy way to spend a ton.

edge and centre finder, mt1 carbide, spring tap guide, wavy parallels, sq and hex Collet blocks and ball bearing nut, micrometer anvil kit. and a tang for a vertex revolving centre.

Nothing is ever simple though, the tang is the wrong thread, and the anvils look like they have been used. The rest is good to go
