2 old fashioned irons.
1 chop saw, almost identical to one that has died on me. But I replaced it.
Oh well.



Decent gas blow torch and a full tin of paint softener.

A Babboe Dog electric cargo trike. I'm doing probate for a (now former) friend so it's got to go. You can put up to 100kg in the front and it has a fold down seat for kids/small dogs. Good fun for a blast round the village with the girl child in the front

Today i acquired a piece of slat wall taken from my shop as it is no longer need there, however i have no use for it so it is now in the freebies section.

A good start to the week.

Firstly, A Dewalt DW700 chopsaw. Needs a new blade, but apart from that it's working perfectly.



Later on in the day I got my hands on this lot - Electrical conduit, scaffold tube and two screw mechanisms from an automated gate.
I didn't get a chance to take the housings apart, but maybe each of the screws could be re-used in some sort of large clamp or incorporated into a workbench???

A acquired a new multimeter, a Fluke 87V, the one I've lusted after for ages.

Unfortunately, the one I bid on didn't have a big black splodge in the corner of the display or a cracked probe.

Those Dewalt 7 series saws are fantastic we use then in a production environment, they are bulletproof apart from a soft plastic component in the guard release, a simple mod soon sorts that. They get uses all day non stop some days cutting thousands of parts and just keep going.

I hate them.
Takes far too much effort to squeese the guard release before plunging.
Doesn't help I have tendonitis but gets tiring to use all day

I can't find parts drawing at the moment, we keep tension on part with a length of copper wire. Pull the trigger to operate the motor with no additional resistance and the guard still raises and lowers as normal.
Unmodified yes they are hard work on the trigger. Off the top of my head, it's a short length of black nylon that operated as a fulcrum and it's so soft it wears macking it hard to squeeze.
We used to replace them every few months until we found a workaround.

Was 1100 Inc 2 batteries/charger and a 110v ac adapter

My old one suffered an injury when the van racking collapsed. Probably fixable but it's a good excuse.
