Finished making a slitting saw arbour for the Drummond.
I could easily have bought one but I need practice using the milling slide and I am still not great with turning to accurate dimension. The steel of unknown origin it pretty tough breaking into nice short chips with a carbide tool so hopefully it will be up to the light occasional use it will see.
The one inch bore and bolt in mandrel are a nice sliding fit and it gives me a run out of 0.02mm measured just inside the saw teeth so as an exercise in turning and milling on the old Drummond M I am well pleased.

Not a slit saw, and not acquired yet, but ordered, and it’s all because I read your post this morning. Before I knew it, I was on the Banggood website, and somehow my finger pressed ‘buy it now’.
