Nearly finished an external staircase for a very nice patient man,he asks ,can he bring his retired FIL,over at Christmas to see my workshop,he’s a retired toolmaker from GARDNER,month later presents me with a plate.im chuffed.Btw it’s never been mounted.

had one of those late last year worked what seamed to be fine some times took a few pulls befor starting

put in gumtree bloke phones only a couple hours later ok come over and see it turns up does not start what ever i do

sorry to the bloke he said not to worry as he was passing but if you get it starting let me know

new spark plug and all working fine now first thing i do is put a new spark plug in befor selling or testing

I could do with a rwd gearbox that will bolt up to a 200/300tdi engine,

Ian there is an LT77 out of a Sherpa van here that will work with a landrover bellhousing, just leaving you to either change the input shaft or mongrel the clutch and spigot bearing. .

Doing a little demo work today. I had a scout about in the rooftop plant rooms. Found a full tin of Jizer and a big bronze screw from a gate valve.

In 2010 we did all the primary surveys on the buildings purchased for the cross rail development. Buildings were all isolated from services, we were the first ones in, while we were inside no one else was allowed. Everything left was fair game

Screws seems to loose themselves with vibrations .
Tighten every single screw , carburettor included ,I have to tap a nut for the air filter
The engine was little bit seized ,so I've removed the spark plug ,and sprayed some WD-40 into the cylinder.
Repaired the spark plug wire
Cleaned it up
Used some starting spray and it's alive
After that , I've used the new tools bought yesterday to repair the chain brake which was always open , after removing the pins I've repositioned the spring and now it works.
I've put the chain and the bar sprocket into the gasoline to loose them because are tightly seized up

I will sell the chainsaw because I don't need it right now

The Jizer can would have gone down the rubble chute I'm sure because no-one else would see any value in it. The screw I got because one of the labourers who obviously knew where they could nick a bit of non-ferrous from had removed all the bolts and the top from the gate valve and left the handwheel sitting on top. All I had to do was wind the screw out by hand and walk off with it. They had no right to it, but I do, so tough luck. Plus it's more valuable to me as turning stock than the £15 scrap they would get.

The last time I was covering the weekend there the whole lift room was complete with two electrical cabinets full of stuff like timer relays, a couple of decent VFD's, loads of other stuff plus a handful of nice grundfos booster pumps and several handy-sized motors. Before I could get a chance to pick through it properly the lads ripped the lot out and left it in a pile in the rain. Everything smashed out with a mattock.

Nope. Most exciting thing happened at TCR was some squatters broke into an old pub. They left after a couple of days, after having smashed it all up
