Yes, they are AR15 bolt carrier groups.
Personally I don't go for all the Practical stuff but we have a big group down at the club that do. I would never dismiss a shooting discipline just because it is not my thing, it is still shooting after all and we are all different. Right?
I too am very interested in the AR platforms and I am shooting out way farther than the gun was designed to with a .224 Valkyrie chambered upper. It gives me plenty to go at as a development platform and I build custom guns for people and astonishingly they all work really well AND they are accurate and reliable. The platform allows me free rein to develop accessories and make custom parts and little tweaks that make it stand out from the crowd, mostly titanium bits. I modify the lowers to my designs and we have started to make our own uppers now, more than 50% of the rifle is made or modified in the UK.

Yep. I thought I'd try the air forks, as the GS850 sold in Europe never had them, and when I replaced the totally knacked forks with GS1000 ones, the air caps were there.Adjustable pre load, don't tell me the air forks let the air out most did that within a few years of been made.
They worked ok, but leaked too much. Not severely, but every day they needed topped up, which became a pita.
Anyway, for some really odd reason Suzuki made the top threads of the GS850 and the 1000 fork legs different, so my old manual caps don't fit - cue the cunning plan.

Does it still clean copper coins etc? Imagine what is happening to your intestines?
That said, I drink Pepsi Max which may do the same.....

Coke cleans the Loo. Denise swears by it. Heinz tomato sauce cleans 1p &2ps no bother. Don’t know about pistons though. Would try diesel myself.Does it still clean copper coins etc? Imagine what is happening to your intestines?

Try a 50/50 mix of ATF & acetone or cellulose thinners, it has freed up stuff for me that wouldn't even budge with heat! Loads of evidence online of its effectiveness too.

A friend of mine was at one time a dental nurse who told me that the dentist she worked for put a recently extracted tooth in a glass of Coke and within a month the tooth had dissolved
My mate used it on his 1938 Morris, left it for 24 hrs and it worked. He said to use the full fat genuine stuff. He was on the fence about it until he tried it.

Finished making a slitting saw arbour for the Drummond.
I could easily have bought one but I need practice using the milling slide and I am still not great with turning to accurate dimension. The steel of unknown origin it pretty tough breaking into nice short chips with a carbide tool so hopefully it will be up to the light occasional use it will see.
The one inch bore and bolt in mandrel are a nice sliding fit and it gives me a run out of 0.02mm measured just inside the saw teeth so as an exercise in turning and milling on the old Drummond M I am well pleased.

Someone mentioned that concoction on here a while back. I’ve tried it and it really does work. Much better than any ready made stuff
