It would require more energy than you'd get burning the carbon in the first place so without a big breakthrough in renewable power (Say, a fusion reactor ), it's not gonna happen.If only someone was to invent carbon storage that releases oxygen.
It's like splitting water into hydrogen to use as fuel, you'll put more energy into the water than you'll get out of the hydrogen so it's only worthwhile if you have a clean, cheap source of electricity.
