Made a doodaa for the end of a PCP air pistol to protect the silencer adapter thread.
Already had some brass bar and telly was killing me so an hour of relief fiddling.

25mm OD, bored 11.5mm, bit of knurling cos I like it parted 12mm, tapped 1/2" 20 UNF, fits a treat.

Trialed yesterday made last week. A thingamajig for the little tractor for lifting bulk bags, this minimises me having to get on and off and on and off and on and off again and again and again looping the ears on pallet forks.

It has the most annoying quick hitch, that is nearly a standard but not quite. So all brackets have to be custom made

I make them 1/2-28, interesting yours is 1/2-20
These are brass, however look like steel.

Hopefully something he'll keep and perhaps look at and think of me, i know theres lots of stuff in my workshop and house that remind me of people that meant a lot to me no longer around

I made the track links lose again however they're both a link too short so they most definitely don't fit like previous owner said!

Believe they're loegering f series steel tracks but not 100% and it's not gonna be easy acquiring 2 links.

this is the bevel filing jig I knocked up

blade and back spring before hardening and tempering

after heat treatment and screwed to a board to test fit upbit more to do yet but steady wins the race

Just lighting, both standard 10x16.5 tyres that I refuse to put anymore that the minimum 60psi in with safety squints

Mine are a different brand/style, and you can move the link bars to (2) different positions.
So you can make each link longer/shorter.

could you just add a steel plate in to join the two together?

it'll leave a gap in the tracks... bit it'll probably be ok? might be worth a try?

So you can make each link longer/shorter.

Yea I've already gotten it at max length, it's odd as there's 6x 5 link 1x 7 link 1x 6 link 2x 3 link 3x 1 link so it splits in 2x 26 link lengths (5/5/5/7/3/1 & 5/5/5/6/3/1/1) with the one with the 7 link being slightly shorter due to less extendable connections but previous owner said they fit however there no combination of the available links that would allow both to fit since they're a link short for each.

I think one of the 11" option would fit but it's finding a uk seller/2nd hand ones or somehow getting 2 sent over here

Probably too big of a gap for the side pieces to keep the tracks on/not puncture the 60psi tyre sidewall. Other than getting 2 links my other option is to drill out the rivets and make longer linking bars on several sections to make up the missing link but keep the side pieces close enough.

Have you had sidewall punctures in the past ?
My tires have a thick added piece to the sidewall, horrible to mount even with the tire machine, as this makes it very stiff.

Not passing half an hour to knock up but gives good consistant results.

I’d say that tear off is well past best!

New one in.
