I finished the skid steer log splitter build and turned 12"+ logs into tiny pieces

As I scrolled down, I did wonder if there was an arm attached to the hand.

It is the neck part that I would like to be the softest as when the stand pivots the 85 shore can leave a small gap which muck could get in. I was trying to think of a way to achieve the soft/hard transition but as the pour gap is only 2mm wide it couldn't be done in a single pour.
I could possibly cast up the neck first in a small mould then transfer that to the normal mould and pour the harder stuff and give it a go but I think I will see what the 40 Shore is like first. I say 40 shore as I was thinking 50 might be better but seems they jump from 40 to 85. The thing is however as both the 40 and 85 are the same make/type I should be able to mix to get something in between if I think it is needed.

That is what I use on the Chinese rubber boot but I have to sand the edges all over or it just cuts into the boot.
I should get the 40 shore today so will see how that turns out.

On the Citroen DS they use a lot of Ligarex straps. They wrap the boot in cloth under the Ligarex to stop it cutting. I use cloth insulation tape.

Not today, but at the RBL, we have been sorting out toys for the silly season. This year lot has been done. But we are still pottering.
At the BUPA MIS we have a younger person, who finds it hard to interact with others. She is a nice lady, but has issues.
But she can sort out Lego, Meccano, build Jigsaw puzzles like no one I have seen before. her health issues can be an issue, but I want to show you what she did, at my place, in peace and quiet, with her care staff and her cuddly toy.

We had the one of special peace, this led us to find the kit. The kit gave us a picking list.

She recalled the red skies. more later were in a box, straight to them and then the rest followed.
Please bare in mind her issues.

Until now she has not had access to Tech Lego, just the simpler stuff.

This was donated, but it was broken in a few ways. To access the damaged the young lady took it to bits.

All sorted. But we needed about 6 replacement parts.
Sods law we did not have them. But this kit can be made into an alternative kit.

We had an issues, the steering wheel, according to the plans were on the wrong side. But a few minutes later we had that sorted.

All I did was supply a quiet place and cookies.
But I feel her efforts should be shown off.

I'm not sure if this really meets the definition of "made", but yesterday I took 24 wooden bowls I'd previously made into work and did a charity sale for the M.E. Association (give a donation to charity and take a bowl away, with suggested donations marked on each bowl).

Two of the bowls (the big ones at back left and back right of this photo) weren't for sale: I just filled them with quality street / roses / celebrations to help entice people over.

All 22 of the for-sale bowls sold (for prices varying between £5 and £50) and the final tally on the justgiving page (which excludes gift aid and will also hopefully be boosted a little further by the company charity committee in due course) was:

A tool for the fly cutter that uses up all the worn out CCMT type tips. Tried it on a bit of aluminium with a polished tip, works quite well.
