It was second try with aluminium last Thurs,
I didnt get anywhere with brass yet, but should get a try this week.

I have used a vacuum oil drainer to bleed loads of fuel systems with success , cheap as I already. had itOn TDCI engine you have to pull air through the low pressure side of the injection pump. All the hoses are plastic with moulded fittings so I doubt that would do the trick....
Whats the willow stick for?Brass is a funny one to cast.
I have had mixed success with it.
The best was when I used a green willow stick. Then cleaned the dross off, before pouring.

The acid, same as aspirin helps lifting the dross to the top. Makes it flows easier.Whats the willow stick for?
