First Machine is back to live.
This machine was tried to repair further.
They miss broken Z, rectifier, mains contactor and some other stuff. But they changed primary igbt modules to new ones so I got the old one as spares because they are still working.
Now waiting for my new ultrasonic cleaner to sweep main pcb.
Anyway the other machine needs to bee serious rebuild because several molten components.
If you ever discover such machine.
Try to test them.

Made a knob
It's a handle for a cast iron casserole pan, the original was some brittle plastic and broke months ago. I did the bottom with a form tool ground from a parting blade on it's side, couldn't be bothered to grind a concave tool for the top so that was just freehand with a big corner radius tool and a file.
M6 thread in the bottom to hold it to the lid and to conveniently hold it for turning the top face, it probably wouldn't have held up to the cutting force on an inch long form tool anyway.

But I did also some other stuff.
My wife decided me to build a shelter for our brand new rabbits.
She did the plans but may forget dimensions.
So it was up to me to source some space and material.
Now need to get it weatherproof.

How hard are they, would it be easy to drill and tap holes in them?

Never tested but they feel like they have been hardened. Probably just case but not going to try and see as I don't need tapped holes

Yesterday was sanding and filler, and sanding it off. I hate using filler, too much on then sand through getting it flat. Today another two coats primer. Started 1mm tip, got runs
so will have to wait 20 hours and more sanding. I swapped the 1.9mm tip, much better no new runs. The fan size about double but I dont understand it. Just checked a review and the guy was getting 17cm with a 1.2tip 
Trying to help it dry as it was 8 degrees, I could use few more heaters
Ordered a 10" lazy susan bearing for tomorrow, it'll be much easier turning the item than going around bench.

Yesterday as opposed today because today I will be making a tooling fixture for them, a rack from a bit of that 3mm stainless I was moving the other day.
Have a JT6 holder on order and a shell mill holder but at fifty-odd quid a pop I will be very selective as to what I will be buying, one at a time I think.

Finished. Painted with Lidl metal care and faced with orange leather. Just waiting for the contact adhesive to dry.
