Aye but it would have to be a still saw as even a 5" grinder won't have the reach as it is 3" diameter. Having said that the weak point will be the chain anyway as it is only an Oxford Beast. @Hood odd but serious question - you gonna paint that sheet with grippy stuff? Wet bike tyres will be fun on that.

If I dare suggest, it’s a little overkill, unless the chain to the bike is of equal link size?
They would cut the chain first I think as that would be quicker/easier than cutting round the link.
