I must confess, i did drive a tractor to school once a JD 6320, parked up next to the jannies wee garden tractor for a laugh,
then went to collect a field car at lunch time ha ha!

Good morning gents 3 years ago when we moved to where we are now, my then 6year old informed me that he NEEDED a motor bike. I actually asked why, he informed me and mum for that matter, that when he gets invited to his school friends birthday parties he can just take the bike and not bother us. The events coordinator and myself had to walk away and not crack up laughing in front of him. He had put some serious thought into this proposal. I had seriously put thought into getting something for them (twins) and my self as they were never going to go by them selves, but they stopped talking about it and I never raised it again. They now ride the ride on mower (the little twin drives, big twin sits on the back of the seat for the ignition cutout) and mow the grass , I'm happy with that. They get many a toot and a whistle doing the section next to the road when cars go by. The little twin supprised the events coordinator when he parked the mower after finishing mowing the grass. I had seen him do it before, back it into the shed around the big band saw into it's parking spot. The events coordinator commented that he parks that mower better than she does. Well that goes to show all that time he has spent on his push toy John Deer tractor had paid off

The smaller twin is just too short at the moment, the bigger twin is just too lazy most of the time. I'l just have to wait and see what develops

Today I made an arbour so I can sharpen the wire brushes for my home made surface preparation tool.

The brushes are expensive and to work as intended, they need a sharp point on the tangs. (They go blunt very quickly)
You are supposed to reverse them and run them in the surface prep tool against a stone, but it's slow speed and doesn't sharpen them that well. Also the brushes (belts really) are slack on the tool and it's all very flexible.
So I made this



It's not for wire brushing, just to run it backwards against a stone and boy does it sharpen them.
No doubt I'm running the brushes too fast but it only takes a moment and I've got the full PPE on.
Couple of seconds on a concrete grinder stone did this.



But it did the buisness on the brush.
I made the arbour out of scrap (what's new) an off cut of PE, the bit ejected from a slugger bit hole, and a washer.







Drilled a couple of holes to take a standard grinder spanner and it's done.





And this is the tool for using the brushes.

I remember ours (boy: girl) as toddlers would be sitting playing together, then just look at each other and without a word being exchanged get up and go to start another game/activity.

It was a bit spooky, like some sort of telepathy.

Ive had a few ideas to upgrade the battery situation, in the end keep coming back to removing the cutter deck from the ride on and modifying that for him instead.
Although ben does have ideas to mount the 3lt engine out my car into a go kart

I've been using a tire pressure monitor to get the air pressure on my gf3, that is the black thing. GF3 has a nice space on the top but the R150 is too risky drilling there, so Ive put it opposite the fan control. I like it, much nicer than having an extra thing on the air line.

Very nice, I like that a lot.
Devilbiss would charge hundreds for that, Sata even more.

I used to be quite friendly with a pair of identical twins, they thought as one, as you say telepathically. The two of them would hold a conversation with you, but speaking as one, half a sentence each! Far closer to each other than brothers.

The tpms set cost about £12, I think its better than the expensive screen on gun things

Ani GF3 and R150, both essentially the same gun but the R150 tips are better quality, and why it costs 3x more.
