Finished fitting the conditioner reel back to the JD mower yesterday, and made my new conditioning hood to fit. (it was missing from the mower when we bought it)
Really pleased with it TBH, it looks like it'll have as much "wrap" on it as a factory hood and work about as well. Still to make some adjustment linkages, and then it's finished.

It's a fairly new mower considering what we paid for it, and for the acres we cut, it should last a decade or more before we decide to part with it.

Tractor operator who works nearby my city uses a to change the hammers but he doesn't secure them so sometimes theses heavy things are launched like bullets
