@Morrisman I suppose it's too late to make it a manual?

‘Real men shift their own gears‘ etc etc sort of thing.![]()
Especially when 90% of the drive is sitting in nose to tail, which happens annoyingly often in this country.Until their left knee starts giving up.Call me pussy. I like autos.

I heard they have neen ordered to remove some of those stupid cycle lanes, for some reason, either they were illegal or against some regulation or other.I've asked for an auto van this anytime round, doubt I'll get one but I had to ask!
Back lower back and left knee from constantly sitting in stop start traffic.
Sadiq Khan and TFL have made it far worse since covid by shutting lanes and entire roads (unless you're a bloody cyclist) everywhere![]()
Some down here are being removed as the cyclist are not using them. They are still cycling in the area set aside for cars etc.I heard they have neen ordered to remove some of those stupid cycle lanes, for some reason, either they were illegal or against some regulation or other.
Find a nice 5/6 speed manual box (bmw rwd) and get/make an adapter up (see bmw's have there usesI‘ve looked around a year or two ago to see if anybody wanted to swap gearboxes, auto for manual, but had no luck.

There are a few different well proven swaps around, I’ve seen them mentioned on the Scimitar web site. I’ll see how this autobox goes, but even then, I don’t see me doing a lot of miles in an open top hot rod in this country. I’ll probably sell it on when it is sorted and road legal.Find a nice 5/6 speed manual box (bmw rwd) and get/make an adapter up (see bmw's have there uses)
Mazda 6 speed boxes are cheap and adaptor to Ford engines readily available . Ford type 9 boxes for the V6 look very similar to the diesel Sierra boxes which don’t have suitable ratios , both have the longer first motion shaft and deeper bell housing than the 4 cyl versionsThere are a few different well proven swaps around, I’ve seen them mentioned on the Scimitar web site. I just googled a bit.... and soon realised I don’t have room for three pedals in this tiny little car.Mazda 6 speed boxes are cheap and adaptor to Ford engines readily available . Oi! Nothing wrong with us cyclists(........unless you're a bloody cyclist......)
An interesting and original concept - a BMW part in a car that has working indicators!Find a nice 5/6 speed manual box (bmw rwd) and get/make an adapter up (see bmw's have there uses)

Love 'em, nice workAnd not just any old indicators... real in-yer-face Americana bling indicators.
Not sure I actually like them mounted like that, but I put so much work into making the brackets......
