Another Meter in a box.

Sifam Moving Coil meter.
I was told it was not working.
I can't work out why.
I am seaking a drwaing to re wire it.

This handy tool is fantastic for getting into the edges to cut back the tired polish. A cabinet scraper does the rest.
The lower parts can be seen on the lid, gentle working will have it level.
Cleaning some of the fixings.

These saw sets are a good introduction into tool restorations.

I do like theses Raw plug drills, apart from the noise. If the spring is not set up, or there is a lack off oil. it can sound like one of theses.

There is no peace time regulation to say they have to be green.but as it's army it's meant to be painted matt green i have to same pickaxe in the shed

A lot were painted, as a officer thought they looked more army.
Plus it kept Percy Pongo busy.
In combat, post 1979 any tool not in a stowage bin on a transport should be painted to blend in.

We did the bottom seal on the VW LT35 the small pipe on the plastic housing broke off so i drilled a hole in what was left then used super glue to fix in a bit of 8mm copper pipe and added some baking soda and glue as a shoulder to help it.

Hello, I've done similar repairs on my DS, I always solder an olive near the end of the copper pipe to stop the hose popping off.

I would have done but i could not find an olive, i have also used a yorkshire coupler if itas a bad fit
Looks as new again, nice.
What's with the tape on the center? And inside the centerhole is black tape?

Kapton tape on the live centre to stop powder sticking.
Yellow stuff is masking compound again to stop powder sticking.
Black thing in the centre hole is a shim - top secret trick to get a shaft to run true that has a bad centre.
