And in Morrisons tonightOur local Asda is out of cooking oil too.
Not sure on the dislike to oven chips here ? , If you are eating mccains or carp American fries type ones I cant blame you.Wow, what's wrong with oven chips in the U.K. I wonder, maybe it's me, wife and kids.
Yeah, we're a bit special, but chips ?
What if we bring oil !?No more pakora for folk visiting me
It’s a simple recipe….You’ve obviously never been on a ship with a Filipino cook who made scrambled eggs in a deep fat fryer.
There is no vomit emoji, unfortunately
Should have used R40 if only for the aroma.
No Castrol GTX, lolWhat if we bring oil !?
Well worth itI've wanted to try doing those for a while, it's a lot of work for chips though.
I saw that in a few recipes and looked it up seemed to be banned as a food in the UKI've been meaning to ask you, do you ever cook with mustard oil? I know it's used in some areas of India, mainly Bengal I think? I've been experimenting with it lately, thought it was bloody 'orrible at first but it's really grown on me now.

Ill get the V8 wok out
Gonna have to try thoseThe best oven chips I've ever had are Lidl triple-cooked beef dripping ones, they are truly fantastic.
Don't forget that R40 is a vegetable oil not a mineral oil so perhaps you could cook with it . Or not.No Castrol GTX, lol
