Superb Steve, Attention to every detail no matter how small, Love the little left hand/right hand jacking screw.
Looking good Steve. (Love the workshop floor, it is cleaner than my kitchen floor is some days.)
looking good mate.
I just want to add to the chorus, I find the level of craftsmanship in this build inspiring and I hope it drives me harder in my own stuff as a result. And yeah you a living leg end![]()
I think there's a LOT of people getting inspiration from this build!
Sadly most youngsters don't even get to know that such skills can be learnt. Metal shops gone from schools, pushed in league table preferential directions etc.Cheers bud, it would be nice if some of the youngsters were motorvated as it seems none of them are really interested in learning the skills these days which is a shame

Good to see you're keeping up the excellent standards![]()
In fairness to the youngsters.. schools do not give enough incentive to learning engineering and employers rarely pay a rate reflecting the skills involved
Lets face it, the wages are rarely what can be called enticing, i have and still do work 60-65 hours a week to earn a decent amount, what youngster is going to do that when office and computer jobs can earn more for a nice 9to5 in a comfy office..
The thing to remember is that those that want to, will continue to learn the trade
