Mis-spelling search for fb marketplace?

Hi, One that amuses and annoys me is people writing 'defiantly' instead of 'definitely', It's not picked up by spellcheckers because they are both legitimate words. It just shows they don't proofread it.

Yes, that one was something I was guilty of for some while, along with "proffesional" to which nobody ever extended the courtesy of telling me about.

Gumtree doesn't look for spelling issues/differences either.

Gumtree's search facility's really bad, maybe even worse since ebay bought it, the cynic in me says that it's too their (eBay's) advantage if it remains cr@p

Or god damn American spelling. :-)
I can't criticise, my typing doesn't keep up with my thinking and I often miss out words and too lazy to proof read. The amount we write these days is crazy.

One example of people shortening everything is when you typed FFS. I think you need to have a word with yourself

Interestingly, about one quarter or more of those words with those meanings were still used in my Northumbrian childhood. I don't use as many these days, though.
