This is what I was using the Lavor for yesterday. Cleaning decorative granite chippings, it did a fantastic job. I cut the top off a 20L plastic drum and drilled alot of 10mm holes in the bottom. Worked great. I had near a 1/2 tonne of them to get through so it took most of yesterday

@carbon I think the problem a lot of the time is that it just isn’t cost effective to run big industrial machines for the odd job. What I use (LAVOR 1108 Rio) isn’t the best as you know but it’s good enough for my needs. I’ve used quite a bit of Chinese **** also but if you maintain it and more so understand it’s weaknesses then it can go a long way. My uses could be domestic maintenance, vehicle cleaning, to truck chassis blasting prior to painting
Ok so a question, what I’ve noticed when I’ve finished using my machine is it doesn’t fully drain water out of its system for when I want to put it away. Is this normal for the ‘hot water’ type of machines?
Also when I come to use it (and that could be a month or two later) the first flow of water is filthy as it’s the old stored stuff. Will that set of major corrosion of the mix of Alloy brass and stainless?
What’s the most delicate part of a cheaper hot washer and what can be done/ modified or looked over to make sure it stays fit for use?
