Hi all,
I am going to look at one of these in the morning:
Its a year old. Full working order although the seller says its down on pressure.
They are a £1400+ machine new roughly. I think with the fault I may be able to get it for around £400. At least I won't pay any more than that.
I have a Kranzle washer for my cars and yard. I already have an old Lavor Hotbox but it's faulty (heat full on, pump casing also cracked spraying water) and very large hence I don't really use it. I will sell it on I think to someone who has more time than me to fettle at it as it needs TLC.
This one would serve my cars, underbody washing and degreasing engine blocks etc and should be more reliable than my 30 year old Lavor (in theory!) And smaller / more portable.
So I'm interested in the upgrade as described above but he said he thinks it's down on pressure. I have fettled with pressure washers before. I guess if I'm lucky there may be a blocked filter / screen or a stuck valve. Or it could need a pump rebuild kit looking them up seems like anywhere from £40 - £150.
Anyone any ideas or suggestions of what I might check in regard to the low pressure fault when I view it tomorrow please?
If it's all working I may just end up taking it home tomorrow but knowing that I'll need to tinker with it some.
