they save about 15 minutes just whip all the neutrals out and run the megger across with the mcb s turned off soon see what circuit its on as long as all; the appliances are unplugged and double pole switches are turned off, i do it in my sleep

The flash/bang is a repeat of when it first went. Didn't see it myself either time as daughter was using the first time and SWMBO the second. Can't help thinking it's something with a dead short in...small transformer?
