Damn would be handy to have some help with this one! I think its a worthwhile project though PeteIf you were nearer to me I'd come and spend a couple of hours going over that for you.
What are those big slotted screws in the bed near the headstock for? Looks like it is a gap bed
I wish I had when he first offered it to me but his dad has a Harrison I was hoping to have which didnt work out then I forgot i agreed to have it. Hes had it in a tent for two years so tbh thats lucky as he would have left it outside if i wasnt interested in itI mean how hard is it to slap some old engine oil or grease onto machines if they are going to hang around un-used...shall we say 3 minutes tops? a pound of cooking lard would of helped if oil is not your thing![]()
If you're not too far, I could slice off a few slabs of graphite, doesn't grow barnacles like scrap metal...I think I will give it a go on the chucks , do you reckon a circle of expanded mesh sheet would work ?
