Never forget though that: Tartan paint, a long weight, *sky hooks* and 10 meters of fallopian tube don't exist.
That's what I thought. Plus I felt they were a much more friendly group when I had my interviews. Do you think it matters that the cadburys site only has around 250 people and kelloggs had around 1000.Sounds like the Chocolate is giving you a better deal
Yes very similar, probably easier to get to cadburys, so far tge only thing thats swaying me to cadburys is that I've met with some of the engineers and previous apprentices and they were al friendly and ive met everyone from the lady's in HR right up to chatting with operations director. Who all made them for me to ask questions, compared to kelloggs where I've only spoken to the people in HR who are ok but not as friendly.Either/or - I have a few friends who work/have worked in Kellogs and it seems decent enough. (Don't know anyone who works in Caburys though).
I guess the travelling would be similar to Chirk/Wrexham Ind Est from where you are?
Thanks, I've asked both lots of questions and they're both very similar the bit that I think is pushing me towards cadburys is the fact I don't have to do shifts and if I do do shifts I get 6 days off rather than 4.Congrats. Great position to be in to have a couple options. Don’t look just at the pay. Don’t forget to consider what they offer for pensions, sick, healthcare etc. Are they part of cycle to work scheme. Are banknholidays included etc.
Historically this was one of Cadbury’s core values so I would hope that package is pretty good. But both options sound great - well done.
I completely agree with everything you've said. Thanks for the adviseGreat position to be in. And you wont really find out if you made the right decision for about 10 or 12 years. Its rare these days to be starting a job for life. In reality only you can choose, but the gut instinct is as good as any.
Cadbury's gets you there sooner, you maximize your earning potential sooner. Any additional benefits that might be worth taking into account? I.E. pension contributions, sick pay, private medical cover etc.I completely agree with everything you've said. Thanks for the advise
