Or in the case of my model L chucked a tin of white over it and spread it around with a brush. :/It is. There are so many crap job 'restorations' about where the 'mechanic' has bought a tin of aerosol, which makes the proper way look a tad slow (also doing it in bits like this slows it down a lot!) but as you say there's a great amount of satisfaction. As much as I enjoy working on machines, restoring them is also a great hobby.

Baffles me.Luxury. Someone used a cloth on my Harrison grinder, there weee fibres all through the paint.
