Looking good, for the top coat did you go for a gloss or semi gloss? just researching paints for mine and cant make my mind up
Whatever I am painting, spray jobs or skirting boards I always like to remove masking tape asap.I wonder how easy you will find it to remove that masking tape after it's been on for a while? Does the blue stuff come off ok?
I've had a devil of a job getting the other stuff off after it's been ok too long.
Getting there.
Whats the verdict on your vfd.
Really nice work. Enjoying seeing your progress.
Dont feel too guilty. Need to find a balance between speed and attention to detail.Well done, loving the attention to detail it’s going to look great when all back together. Making me feel guilty with my restoration i’m just getting it “clean” nowhere near your standard.
Those Bosch sanders are good, very little vibration compared to the DIY ones.A lovely Bosch professional oribital sander I've been ripping through the cabinet work today. Boring as hell, but faster than doing it by hand

Funnily enough, older 415v-input VFDs can be pretty simple to hack to give 415v from 240v single-phase, I've done it to run my Holbrook's 3-speed motor...
ABB ACS300 series are pretty easy, sturdily made too.
