Got some nice power supplies. Won one on eBay for the starting big and asked if he had any more available; "Yeah no problem mate I'll pop it in". This was at about midnight, I was expecting some kind of PayPal invoice for the second one in the morning, instead the guy appeared at the door and dropped them off in person, apparently he works nearby.
Excuse the dodgy wiring on the terminal blocks, I know they make rails to gang a few together but not for a price im willing to pay when a wire works fine. It's only temporary anyway, that's 0.75mm flex on the input, I think that'll get a bit floppy with a 3kw element on the go.
They play fine with the speed controllers, just got it wired up to a 15ohm resistor to test, it's too cold to be messing with pumps and buckets of water. Does anyone know if it's safe to connect the supplies in series? I've got some 24v indicators I might like to use. The output is isolated from the mains (Or rather, there's no continuity with the multimeter between the input and output), I assume it should be fine?
